PAINFUL PERIODS SUPPLEMENT PROTOCOL
I have created this protocol especially for YOU (my community) to help support your menstrual cycle health. This protocol will be helpful for you if:
- You have period pain that disrupts your life for one or more days during your period
- You have debilitating period pain that leaves you unable to function
- You experience ovulation pain (more than just a slight cramping feeling)
- You get cramps in the lead up to your period
I suggest implementing this protocol in conjunction with my Harness Your Hormones Program (or after you complete it) for 12 weeks to see improvements in your cycle. Please consult with your doctor before taking any supplements.
Here’s to fixing your period,
Please take with food. Can be taken in the morning or earlier afternoon. Magnesium helps prevent feelings of nervousness, anxiety and irritability. It’s also been shown to reduce bloating, breast tenderness, sleeplessness and works amazingly well for period pain, headaches and migraines. It supports estrogen detoxification in the liver thus reducing estrogen dominance.
Take within an hour of finishing any meal of the day. Omega 3’s are potent anti-inflammatory agents and super important for healthy ovulation and overall hormonal health (read progesterone, which will reduce pain). They are also beneficial in helping to regulate menstrual cycles, reduce menstrual cramps, headaches and improve PMS symptoms. They also help the brain cope better with stress and reduce the negative effects of chronic stress.
Take between meals. Curcumin can lower inflammation and estrogen levels, reducing period pain, body pain and headaches. Take away from iron as it can interfere with iron absorption.
